Hazeldene's has accredited (FREPA) Free Range Farms at Murchison East and Sea Lake.
What's it all about?
Free Range Accredited operations, birds run free of their sheds, in secured environs on fresh forage during the day, before returning back into the sheds at night, to be housed safe from the predators and the elements. Free Range birds are Antibiotic FREE. However they are raised on “complete” feeds, designed with a balance of protein, energy, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients for proper growth. Hazeldene's has accredited (FREPA) Free Range Farms at Murchison East and Sea Lake.
Hazeldene’s is an Approved Producer under the RSPCA Approved Farming Scheme for some of its chicken farms, such as Bendigo Valley chickens that are raised in RSPCA approved barns, where they can perch, dust bathe, scratch and forage freely.
